Scotchmans Hill ' The Hill'
Sauvignon Blanc 2009 (Marlborough, NZ)
Sourced from
Marlborough fruit, but with some stages of production completed at Scotchmans
Hill's winery, this trans-Tasman special is as vibrant and upfront as they
come.
'Mid straw in appearance with a green tinge. The bouquet displays
complex and lifted aromas of gooseberry and lychee fruits, with a touch of
asparagus and grassy notes. the palate is full, and tight with gooseberries and
lychees, and grassy overtones. Firm acid, some minerality and intense flavours
on the mid palate, give the wine overall balance. Serve chilled and enjoy over
the next 18 months.'

Opal Sauvignon Blanc 2009 (Marlborough, NZ)
Produced for us by
the fast growing 'Winemakers of Ara' winery, this single vineyard Marlborough
Sauvignon Blanc is a step above its peers (and the rest of the wines in this
