Finally, from the Grampians, yes, many would not be aware of this great Mount Langi (cool climate) winery renowned for their Shiraz, we feature the Mt Langi Billi Billi Shiraz. Once again James Halliday awarded this magnificent wine - 92 points, Nick Stock from the Good Wine Guide also gave this wine 92 points, commenting:
"Pretty hard to fault this red: the Grampians fruit delivers to make this an elegant, svelte and spicy proposition. Smells of blue fruits, with some dark, stony aromas too. The palate's superbly shaped: really precise plums and blue fruits, chirpy acid keeps it all nice and crunchy, and dark cherry-stone finish. Juice, balanced and utterly delicious".
Well, with wines of such great distinctions at average $16 per bottle -who needs to spend $400 for a Grange?
