It is full flavoured and has all the tropical fruit packed in with a good firm acid structure that gives it a fresh crisp finish.
The Hill Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, NZ) Sourced from Marlborough fruit, but with some stages of production completed at Scotchmans Hills winery, this trans-Tasman special is as vibrant and upfront as they come. Mid straw in appearance with a green tinge. The bouquet displays complex and lifted aromas of gooseberry and lychee fruits, with a touch of asparagus and grassy notes. the palate is full, and tight with gooseberries and lychees, and grassy overtones. Firm acid, some minerality and intense flavours on the mid palate, give the wine overall balance. Serve chilled and enjoy.. This wine should be enjoyed over the next couple of years while displaying its fresh varietal character.
