Made from 85% Garganega and 15% Trebbiano di Soave (the latter is part of Pieropan's effort to safeguard ancient native Italian varieties that have lately been neglected by most growers) the wine is brilliant straw yellow with greenish hues. It has an ample but delicate nose of almond, mineral and white florals. Elegant with medium body, it leads with flavors of honeydew melon, green apple, pear and almonds on the palate; tempered with good acidity and silky texture, it leaves a pleasingly bitter finish.
