Sourced from the Tumbarumba, located west of the NSW snowy mountins and not far from the Victorian border. Tumbarumba is very cool climate indeed, with winter snow a constant companion for the regions vignerons. Chardonnay is regarded as one of the 'hero varieties' of the region.
The Mastermind Chardonnay is pale yellow in colour, with lovely stoned fruits and honeydew melon on
the nose. The palate is soft with hints of new oak and some ‘malo’ but
is tight yet rich on the palate with a great clean acid finish.
