According to the Australian Oxford Dictionary (the stubby little 'mini edition)
best is described as (adverb): 'better than any other; to highest degree.'
and this week we bring you a wine that can call itself The Best. For this
week we are featuring a wine that recently won the trophy for 'Best McLaren Vale
Shiraz' at the worlds biggest wine show, the International Wine
Challenge.
Now normally when we are talking about the best wines, we are
- by nature - often talking about the most expensive wines. But that's what's
different about this Shiraz: It may be the best, but no one has told the
winemaker that (shh don't tell them).
Hence we offer to you The Best
McLaren Vale Shiraz at the princely sum just $24.95 a bottle - which we think is
the absolute price in the world given the quality.

'Bella Vigna' - Beautiful Vineyard
A single
vineyard Shiraz, this full bodied, luscious red is deep plum red in colour with
a nose of mulberry plum and chocolate oak. Particularly smooth, luscious and
rich, the full bodied palate has oodles of Mclaren Vale goodness and fine
tannins.
Drinkable now or able to be cellared for ten years, this lovely
full bodied red would go particularly well with a nice rack of
lamb..
$24.95 per bottle. Only 30 packs available and going
fast....
