Lovely bright red colour. Aromas of red berries, plum, spice, loam and a certain rose/musk/vanilla scent that is very attractive. There is also a suggestion of new leather car seats. Medium bodied palate with not so much of the overt confection that so many Australian grenache based wines suffer from. This is a dry wine with spicy red fruit and some earthy overtones. Dry sandy tannins and a little warmth from alcohol. Dry spiced cranberry finish of some length
