McWilliam’s Hanwood Classic Tawny is a lighter, fresher style Tawny than
McWilliam’s Hanwood Ten Year Old. It is brick red in colour with amber
tones. The palate is sweet to start off with, and then dries off
beautifully to a clean, persistent finish. Superb mellowness derived
from ageing in good oak barrels that are more than ten years old,
allowing the wine to slowly develop complexity without obvious oak
flavours and characters
