Cherry Tree Hill Riesling 2006 from the Southern Highlands NSW. This wine is a multiple gold medal winner and the signature wine at Cherry Tree Hill. It is starting to display all the characteristics of a premium aged Riesling, with a deep golden hue and a complex, almost creamy palate of toasty lemon butter, yet still displaying those same citrus and floral notes of its younger years. There is a level of acidity typical of its varietal concealed subtely by the fruit sweetness and overall perfect balance. This wine shows exceptional quality.
